Setting Page Breaks
Controlling page breaks in Analysis Studio is dependent on having Context Filters in a report.
Report with two context filters:

The first context filter will automatically page break based on its hierarchy. Select an Order Method (i.e. Sales Visit) for the second context filter.

Turning page breaks on: Run \Report Options \ Display Tab \ checkmark next to Context Filter you want to break the page on and click on OK.
Page Break on Retailer Context Filter

Page Break results in PDF format:

Each page shows Revenue by Retailers for the Sales Visit – Order Method.

Creating a simple member calculation
Version 8.4 allows you to create simple calculations in dimensional data sources using the calculation icon just like you do in Analysis or Query Studio.
1. Create a crosstab report off of a dimensional data source like this one created off the Sales and Marketing cube.

2. Select the Revenue and Planned Revenue column title headers (crosstab node member)
3. Click on the calculation icon.
4. In the drop down list select: Revenue – Planned Revenue

EPM Integration – It’s all about the data.
Performance Management (Budgeting & Planning, Financial Consolidation) and Business Intelligence (Reporting and Analytics) systems are being compared and combined. Data is being delivered through many mediums and the results are being inspected by a variety of personnel throughout the enterprise. The results need to match and the business metadata should explain the data lineage. Vendors offer a wide array of tools to manage the data and control the results being surfaced by the end-user tools. Oracle in particular has a compelling set of offerings which offer a broad array of capabilities. Understanding these capabilities is not something easily achieved in today’s hustle bustle environment. ISA has the luxury of providing hundreds of solutions on a yearly basis. The perspective allows ISA to learn from successes and failures and provide industry best practice solutions in the clients environment. If learning about these Oracle solutions is interesting to you, please join ISA at Oracle Collaborate May 3-7, 2009, Orange County Convention Center West, Orlando, FL. ISA will be presenting. Let us know if you are planning to attend
